During my internship at Elemental Breath LA, I honed my social media management skills through a series of impactful projects and initiatives. My role involved creating, scheduling, and analyzing content to boost the brand's online presence and engagement. As a LEEAF Fellow, I expanded my social media management expertise by working closely with business leaders and contributing to community-wide economic revitalization efforts through innovative social media strategies. By combining strategic content creation, rigorous analytics, and innovative problem-solving, I have developed a robust skill set in social media management. My experiences at Elemental Breath LA and the LEEAF Fellowship have equipped me with the expertise needed to drive significant growth and engagement for any brand and acted as an intrapreneur, partnering with business leaders to drive growth and gain capital and skills for business development relevant to managing and scaling social media efforts.

LEEAF
(Leading for Equity in Entrepreneurship Accelerator and Fellowship)
The deliverables presented highlight and showcase the work I've curated from Summer 2021 through Fall 2022. I focused on project management, social impact, and delivery systems. I received intensive training by building strong community roots to develop career skills and build high-value networks rooted in emerging visions of economic justice. I worked to gain entrepreneurial skills that are marketable and career-ready.

LEEAF Deliverable - Personal Brand
My name is Elizabeth Cruz Garcia, and I serve people like me! Those first-generation Latinx students enter adulthood while simultaneously trying to dive into the professional world. With my targeted work, I plan to work with businesses that will allow me to grow my professional development skills while teaching me how to get specific things done. I stand out from other students because my background in mass communications has allowed me to create a copy write and a creative brief, amongst other things. I hope to learn more about marketing with my developed skills, content creation, and creative projects.
LEEAF Deliverable - Profile a Business Accelerator
Interested in business and entrepreneurship, I had the opportunity to work with the Business Accelerator in partnership with the LEEAF. During this time, I developed a profile for Educated Chola, a Latina lifestyle brand based in LA focused on mental health.This project was a great learning experience for me, as I had the chance to explore how to profile a business and growth strategies.
LEEAF Deliverable - Profile a Small Business
I identified a BIPOC business in East/South LA that could benefit from the LEEAF Accelerator. After researching the area, I was drawn to a small business called Milpa Grille. With this deliverable, I described how this business could benefit from LEEAF and also included why this business stood out to me.
LEEAF Deliverable - Social Platforms
I have always been passionate about using the power of technology to help people reach their goals. After being asked to create a breakdown of social platforms that would benefit Educated Chola, I was excited to put my skills to the test. Through my research and analysis, I created a comprehensive report that identified the best social media platforms to use for the company.
The deliverables I present highlight and showcase the work I've curated in the Spring and Summer of 2022 in collaboration with Elemental Breath LA. My efforts have been devoted to creating and maintaining the organization's various social media strategies, content creation tools, and delivery systems. I'm passionate about helping people learn and grow through digital experiences.

Elemental Breath LA
Elemental Breath LA Deliverable - Content Creation
Starting in March 2022, I began planning a content feed for weekly posts until August 2022. This strategy led to improved analytics across Instagram, including 30,964 accounts reached, a 3.6K% increase from the previous period, 1,317 profile visits, a 287.4% increase from the previous period, and 120 new followers.
I designed and made the content on Canva. I used the Meta Business Suite to easily schedule and organize the posts, using optimal hashtags to garner a wider audience. I am passionate about helping others reach their content planning goals, and I am excited to continue to develop my skills in this field.
